More about your role As a Roofer you will be expected to provide a high quality and efficient service in roofing, you will be responsible for conducting felt flat roof work, slating tiling sheet lead work, flashing and other associated trades to our domestic housing property portfolio. This role is required to ensure that all works are carried out on time and within the Group's policies and procedures, about Health & Safety, housing management and maintenance. We provide a mandatory fall restraint system and training to ensure our roofers are safe when working on ladders and cat ladders, this is in addition to utilising Tower Scaffolds, Easi-Deck Access and also Full Scaffolds when required. You will get a new power tool kit, vehicle, Apple iPad and phone as we know it's more than just being a roofer. You will work independently, knowing how to speak with people and organise the work activity are key strengths. This role will be varied from working in empty homes, upgrading homes or dealing with our customers responsive repairs in their homes we offer variety. Although this role is advertised in a specific location, you will be working in surrounding areas. The working hours are 40 per week across Monday to Friday. More about you You will have experience in repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential. You should also have a basic level of competency within other trades such as plastering, brick work and some basic joinery would be advantageous.
