Job Description:
The Recruitment Co are looking for experienced Food Production Operatives in Whitefield, Bury.
These roles are temporary to permanent, so candidates will get a permanent position subject to passing their temporary probation period.
We are looking for candidates with strong manufacturing experience, preferably within the food production sector.
Working in the process department, shifts will be rotating days and nights: 6am-6pm/6pm-6am, 7am-7pm/7pm-7am, & 8am-8pm/8pm-8am, Monday to Thursday.
Candidates must be able to work day and night shifts on a weekly rotational basis.
The hourly rate is £13.36 per hour.
Responsibilities:
* Work with team members to ensure performance meets production plans.
* Monitor quality at your designated area.
* Maintain performance by adhering to plant setup, technical specifications, and quality assurance processes.
* Support skilled operators and FLMs in plant setup and product changeovers.
* Maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices.
* Follow food safety policies during handling, preparation, and storage of ingredients and finished goods.
* Adopt good health and safety practices at all times.
* Participate in training and development initiatives.
