A Multinational company located in the Brighton, MI area is seeking multiple a Lead Mechanical Project Engineers for their Automation, Assembly, and Material Handling Systems.
The Engineer pay rates are anticipated to be salary based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including very good Bonuses, Overtime, Medical, Dental, 401k and more!
The ideal candidate will research the project information and requirements from direct customer interaction, or from the original manufacturing drawings.
* 5+ years of recent / relevant Mechanical Project Engineering experience with Automation / Assembly / Material Handling Systems. Closely related industries will also be considered.
* Must have solid skills with Solidworks or similar Software.
* A BS in Mechanical Engineering is, but not essential. Equivalent combinations of an Associate degree / experience / etc. will be considered.
* Must be able to travel 20% overnight for Domestic or International trips, Passport Required.
* Must be able to work in the US- US / Canadian / US Green Card holders welcome.
* Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field .
* Proficiency Engineering Calculations, (Drives, Shafts, Gears, Load, Chain Pull,...)
* Strong understanding Leading Designers and additional Engineers.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and engineering drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
