Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Skelmersdale)

Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Skelmersdale from January 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover role, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire and support students in achieving their full potential in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
* Contribute to the development of the Maths department and wider school community.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
