With huge investment, category momentum, and a clear plan to break into mainstream retail, this is the ideal role for a driven Sales Manager ready to shape the UK growth strategy.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of UK commercial growth while building and leading a small but expanding sales team. You will balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution, working closely with the Head of UK and global stakeholders across Korea and Europe. This is a chance to leave a genuine footprint in a business that is scaling fast, with the expectation of securing their first mainstream retail listing within the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the UK sales function with line management responsibilities (team set to grow).
* Develop annual sales and growth strategies across the Grocery channel.
* Build, manage, and expand relationships with buyers – particularly across Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda & Waitrose.
* Support entry into mainstream UK grocery while building on strong wholesale traction.
* Strengthen cross‑border collaboration with HQ (Korea) and European teams.
* Oversee sales operations and administration (PO, PI, CI, shipping documentation).
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Travel nationally and internationally as needed; occasional weekend events.
About You
We are looking for someone ambitious, culturally aware, and commercially sharp who thrives in a growing business with big goals.
You will bring
* Experience in Asian food.
* Managerial experience.
* Strong relationships with UK grocery buyers – ideally Top 4.
* Proven ability to build strategies, hit KPIs, and deliver sustained sales growth.
* Experience managing and developing a small team.
* Understanding of EU/UK food regulations and export processes.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and convert insights.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* A collaborative, adaptable working style across international teams.
