Equator are a niche Freight Forwarder based in Enfield for over 25 years providing quality Express and Freight services to customers across the UK and Internationally. Job Opening: Account Manager As an Account Manager at Equator, you will be the face of our company and will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, taking bookings, providing quotes, tracking shipments and generally overseeing all activity relating to your accounts. Monday to Friday - 9 to 5:30 - with out of hours contact if required. 25 days holiday Your Responsibilities: Account Ownership: You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, responsible for managing revenue levels and nurturing relationships at every level. Proactive Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on and solve problems independently, taking action to ensure clients are satisfied and your accounts are thriving. Client Needs & Business Growth: Stay ahead of client needs by understanding their business needs and timescales and anticipating opportunities for growth, while taking an active interest in your clients industries to better understand their unique requirements. Collaboration & Communication: Work directly within the Equator team & with suppliers to ensure customer objectives are achieved and actively participate in the development of new accounts. Your Profile: Although full training will be provided to the right candidate the following attributes are desirable: Experience: Customer Service or Account Management experience within a fast moving and challenging environment. Client-Focused: Highly proactive and motivated to understand client needs, solve problems, and consistently add value. Strong Communication Skills: You can engage and communicate clearly with individuals at all organizational levels. Negotiation Expertise: Skilled in managing supplier negotiations and delivering win-win solutions for both the client and the company. Independent & Collaborative: Able to work autonomously but also collaborate closely with the team at all levels to ensure the overall success of your accounts.
