Teaching Personnel is looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants supporting children with additional needs in school settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with additional needs either 1:1 or in small groups
* Assist children to engage with learning and develop independence
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
* Flexible placements ranging from short-term cover to long-term roles
* Many temporary placements progress into permanent roles within schools

Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience is not essential; we are keen to hear from applicants with transferable experience or a genuine interest in working with vulnerable children
* Caring roles (personal or professional), experience supporting individuals with additional needs, backgrounds in care, youth work, or support services
* Must be 21 years of age or over
* Hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) or be willing to apply
* Right to work in the UK
* A patient, reliable, and caring approach
* All applicants must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; full assistance is provided by Teaching Personnel
* Safeguarding checks will be undertaken in accordance with DfE statutory guidance "Keeping Children Safely in Education" and may include an online search as part of due diligence on shortlisted applicants
