Would you like to lead on an exciting opportunity to set up a brand new autism consultation pathway in North Lincolnshire? Are you passionate about ensuring patients receive high quality support which is autism informed? If so, this post might be for you.
We are looking to recruit a permanent Band 8b Practitioner Psychologist who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our Neurodiversity Directorate. You will support our mental health wards and community pathways by offering specialist case supervision and consultation. There will be opportunities to offer training to staff and support with organisational change.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership of a new autism consultation and supervision pathway, incorporating all aspects of clinical governance and provision of high-quality clinical supervision.
* Develop and provide a highly specialist autism consultation offer for the mental health teams and wards in the North Lincolnshire area.
* Develop and provide support that meets the agreed neurodiversity service priorities, including training/supervision of team members and consultancy and supervision work to improve the quality of care for autistic service users.
* Offer consultation around risk assessments and risk management, and provide psychological advice and consultation to others involved in patient care.
* Supervise and support other neurodiversity practitioners and colleagues with governance responsibility for monitoring quality of practice.
* Collaborate with the Consultant Psychologist, Lead Nurse and Service Manager for the Adult Neurodiversity Pathway on strategic development of the directorate.
* Aim to evaluate the outcomes of the new pathway.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Permanent Band 8b Practitioner Psychologist or equivalent, with enthusiasm and motivation to lead neurodiversity initiatives.
* Experience in clinical leadership, supervision, and consultancy within autism and mental health settings.
* Ability to contribute to staff training and organisational change; capable of governance and quality monitoring.
