We are recruiting experienced Senior Project Planners to work within our Project Controls team on security, defence, and nuclear sector projects.
About You
You will be an experienced project planner and scheduler, undertaking planning, scheduling functions, and performance monitoring. This includes:
1. Development and updating of programmes.
2. Submission of NEC-compliant programmes for acceptance.
3. Using DCMA/CIOB Protocol principles to undertake integrity checks on supply chain and third-party programmes.
4. Maintenance, control, analysis, and recovery-plan activities through all stages of the Project Lifecycle.
You should be capable of planning and scheduling major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment construction projects, including non-routine requirements. Proficiency in developing programmes from first principles and understanding three-point estimates, time risk allowances, and risk-adjusted programmes is essential.
We seek an agile practitioner who can build relationships, communicate effectively with project teams, and bring innovative problem-solving approaches to scheduling.
Qualifications and Experience
* MACOSTE, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent.
* Proficiency with industry-standard planning software; training can be provided.
* Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (including POL), and Asta Powerproject. Experience with QSRA and Monte Carlo simulations (Primavera Risk Analysis, Predict!, RiskHive Arrisca) is advantageous.
* Project-level experience preferred.
* Experience in Defence sector projects highly desirable.
* Ability to obtain security clearance.
