Job Description
* Providing support in the preparation of financial statements.
* Assisting in the monthly financial close process.
* Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
* Collaborating with team members to prepare annual budgets.
* Performing administrative tasks, such as filing and handling correspondence as required.
* Helping in the development of reports for management or regulatory bodies.
* Reviewing both incoming and outgoing invoices.
* Maintaining the confidentiality of all financial data.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Proven exposure in a similar role
* A degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting or related field.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* A proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
