Assistant Director- Leadership Development Institute
Job Summary
The Leadership Development Institute offers cutting‑edge, evidence‑based leadership development and coaching. The Assistant Director will be a key part of the leadership team for the Institute.
Responsibilities
* 5% – Evaluation and Assessment: Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of leadership programs and initiatives through ongoing assessment, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics. Use data‑driven insights to inform decision‑making, improve programmatic outcomes, and demonstrate impact to stakeholders. Serve as primary client liaison to solicit feedback from stakeholders, conduct program reviews, and implement improvements based on lessons learned and best practices (approx. 2 hours per week).
* 10% – Team Leadership: Along with the Senior Director, provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff, partners, coaches, and student interns. Co‑create and monitor adherence to strategic and weekly action plans. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for program initiation and implementation in partnership with relevant departments. Foster a positive work environment, promote professional development, and cultivate a culture of collaboration, service, innovation, and excellence. Participate in regular team meetings and provide coaching and development for direct reports in 1‑1 sessions (approx. 4 hours per week).
* 50% – Partnership & Business Development: In partnership with the Senior Director and Director, utilize relational marketing and prospecting best practices to cultivate partnerships and strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders to achieve annual revenue goals, focusing primarily on business‑to‑business client acquisition. Lead the revenue team, including prospecting processes and identification of revenue‑generating contracts across all industries. Own prospect team and processes, track leads in the CRM, assist in proposal execution, represent LDI at conferences, and assist in advisory board creation (approx. 20 hours per week).
* 30% – Strategic Management and Implementation: In collaboration with the Senior Director & Director, create and execute strategic action plans to help achieve the strategic plan goals. Direct assigned project plans and manage financial budgets. Lead client success team, coordinate with operations, manage client projects, continuously improve, oversee back‑end operations and marketing activities, and manage marketing, social media, and promotional materials (approx. 12 hours per week).
* 5% – Other Activities as Assigned
Background and Eligibility
This position has direct cash handling responsibilities. A financial history/credit check is required per FASOP HR‑04.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
* Three years of related experience.
* Candidate may have relevant experience instead of a degree if the required years of experience are met.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree in a related field.
