Location: Waterside, London(Hybrid- once a week in office)
Contract ended: end of this year, with potential extension
Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)
Rate: £600-700 per day through Umbrella(Inside IR35)
Job purpose:
Join the client Digital – People Technology team as a Product Manager and play a key role in leading products across People/HR portfolio. The team manages a large number of People applications, both in-house and SaaS across delivery and support functions.There are a number of exciting projects for which we require a Product Manager.
What you will do:
* You will plan, budget, monitor and report on the project with project management tools, sometimes pitching the idea of the project or being assigned to it once it’s been approved. You will make sure the project plan is sound, report regularly on its progress and monitor it to ensure that its execution stays within the approved budget and schedule.
* Additionally, you will act as the bridge between upper management, stakeholders and cross-functional teams tasked with the execution of the project. Besides collaborating with these teams, you will use project management software to track costs, tasks, time and project progress.
What you will bring:
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Recognised Project & Product Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, SAFe POPM, PMI/CAPM or PMP)
Strong skills in the following:
* Product management skills. People management, financial management & schedule management
* Stakeholder management (internal and external), with a proven ability of influencing and persuading internally and externally
* Ability to assign and track tasks to teams, and individuals, to achieve sign off of deliverables to defined quality metrics
* Deliver on a number of projects/products simultaneously, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.
* Previous experience in HR technology, preferably in benefit domain
* Experience of RFP/RFI’s for SaaS products, integration of SaaS products into large corporate
* Workshop leadership and facilitation
* Ability to prioritise, based on limited information available
* Business partnering, working as a valued partner with senior stakeholders across a diverse operation, delivering a value added service to business customers.
* Dynamic, problem-solving approach coupled with the ability to create a positive working environment.
* Technical background
* Fluent written and spoken English
Experience
* Extensive experience of managing agile & waterfall teams
* Proven experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing agile teams.
* In depth Agile experience exhibited in previous technology focussed roles
* Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading projects in a large multinational environment, preferably in aviation but not essential
* Requirements gathering and documentation as required
* Demonstrable hands-on experience of using project management tools
* Demonstrable experience of managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies of projects in a portfolio environment

* Attention to Detail: Hands-on product manager with meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
* Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction. Proven record of accomplishment of successful stakeholder management at a senior level with a proven ability to influence and persuade across the organisation
* Supplier Management: Effective skills in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of services and products. Ability to challenge technical proposals from suppliers
