Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Sheffield for a skilled and customer-focused Optician. The Optician will assist customers with eyewear selection, conduct basic eye exams, provide advice on lenses and frames, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, fitting and adjusting frames, and providing expert guidance on optical products.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Optics and foundational knowledge of Optometry
* Strong focus on Customer Service and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
* Ability to assist with Eye Exams and interpret optical prescriptions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate eyewear with care
* Previous experience in a similar role or in the optical industry is an advantage
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in optometry or optics are a plus
