The Parish of St. Helier is seeking a proactive and people-focused Rates Officer & Customer Services Assistant Manager to help lead our front-line services and ensure a high standard of service delivery to parishioners and visitors.
This key role involves supervising the Customer Services team, ensuring excellent service standards, and assisting with the efficient handling of enquiries, payments, and licensing. The postholder will also play an important part in ensuring compliance with the Rates (Jersey) Law 2005, supporting the Rates Assessment Committee, and engaging with external stakeholders including other parishes and government departments.
