Industrial Doors Engineer – North East Region
£15 – £21 per hour + Overtime + Company Van
Full-Time | Permanent | No Regular Overnights
We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Doors Engineer to join our team, covering the North East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the industrial doors sector. ? Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, and repairs of:
o Roller Shutters
o Sectional Doors
o High-Speed Doors
o Loading Bay Equipment
o Dock Levellers
* Occasional installations (not essential – we have a dedicated install engineer)
* Working independently across the North East region
* Minimal overnight stays (occasional flexibility appreciated)
? Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial doors (training not provided)
* Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent)
* Strong fault-finding and repair skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Desirable Qualifications
* DHF Door Diploma
* NVQ Level 2 (Industrial Doors)
* Electrical 18th Edition Regulations (highly beneficial)
* DHF Gate Diploma (if gates are part of your skillset)
* CSCS Skilled Worker
* IPAF
* Health & Safety training (Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness, etc.)
