What will you be doing?
We have a fantastic 9-month fixed-term contract position available for a Technical Implementation Lead. This exciting role involves supporting the rollout of a new software across the company's waste management sites.
* Working in a team of 16 deployment leads, you will implement a new operational system for the commercial waste division.
* You will be assigned to a depot for up to 2 months and will:
* Train back-office staff and operational drivers on using the new system.
* Train operational managers on how and when to utilize the new PowerBI reports.
* Promote the benefits of the new system consistently.
* Support the depot during their first month of using the system to ensure:
* Exemplary and consistent system usage.
* Business Managers understand the revenue implications.
* Leave the depot with a self-help mindset and a solid understanding of BAU support processes.
You will liaise with IT Product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
What are we looking for?
* Proven experience in training and coaching.
* Experience implementing complex IT systems for operational users.
* Excellent face-to-face communication skills with the ability to deliver clear training.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels.
* Experience in business support or project support roles.
* Comfortable with being away from home Monday to Friday, living in hotels near the depot (expenses covered).
* Ability to work independently or in small teams (1-2 people).
* Willingness to start early, with some days beginning at 4 am.
* Driving license required.
