We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team supporting children and young people aged 7–18. Our aim is to help every pupil build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to achieve their potential.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a positive difference in education.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of learning and emotional needs
* Encourage independence and help pupils engage with the curriculum and wider school life
* Support pupils during lessons, at break times, and on educational visits
* Work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to plan and deliver personalised programmes
* Assist pupils who may display behaviours that challenge, offering calm and consistent support
* Keep accurate records of progress and contribute to team discussions
* Play an active part in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives
What We're Looking For
* Experience in education or care settings, or relevant qualifications (GCSEs/NVQ Level 2 minimum)
* Basic first aid knowledge
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Organised, reliable, and able to use initiative
* Understanding of child development, learning styles, and the impact of trauma (training provided if needed)
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to location)
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check

* Working hours: 8:30–16:00 Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri | 8:30–17:00 Tues (total 38.5 hours per week)
