Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Salary: £103.95 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temporary/Supply
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, and deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people.
Encourage participation and build confidence in all participants, ensuring a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Provide constructive feedback to help improve performance and skills.
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through sports.
Work closely with schools, parents, and team members to ensure the success of the coaching program.
Maintain records of player progress and provide regular reports on development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in coaching sports, preferably in a school or youth sports setting.
Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 1, Level 2, or equivalent).
A passion for sports and working with children, with the ability to inspire and engage young athletes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to manage groups of children and maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undertake one).
