Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Warwickshire, Leamington Spa.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks such as cooking meals, managing finances, and accompanying individuals on outings.
This position is a community care role, supporting individuals in their own homes across the Leamington Spa area, including the CV34, CV32, and CV31 postcodes.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
What does a Support Worker do?
* Supporting people to live independently – managing budgets, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
* Building relationships and supporting understanding – helping individuals understand their world and promoting positive relationships.
* Community & Social Inclusion – assisting individuals in accessing and participating in community and social activities to promote life skills and individuality.
* Personal care – supporting with daily routines, medication prompts, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.
Contract options:
* Part-time: 30-35 hours per week.
Shift times:
All services operate 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
* Days: 07:00 am - 10:00 pm
* Waking nights: 10:00 pm - 07:00 am
