Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Life Sciences – Central London\nOur client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier:1 main contractors involved in ‘technology’ schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects.\nDue to continued growth in the region of their pharmaceutical division, our client is now seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their team based on a Life Sciences build in Central London.\nResponsibilities\n * Design & Documentation:\nDevelop and review detailed electrical system designs (power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency systems) in compliance with GMP, GAMP, and life sciences regulatory standards.\n * Construction Support:\nProvide technical oversight during installation, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems on-site, ensuring alignment with project drawings, specifications, and client expectations.\n * Coordination with Stakeholders:\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including process, mechanical, and automation engineers—as well as architects and contractors, to integrate electrical systems within the broader project scope.\n * Compliance & QA/QC:\nEnsure all electrical installations adhere to relevant codes (NEC, IEC, etc.) and client-specific standards, participating in quality inspections and resolving non-conformance issues.\n * Project Scheduling & Reporting:\nAssist in maintaining project timelines by tracking electrical deliverables, supporting procurement schedules, and providing progress updates to the engineering lead and project manager.\nRequirements\nMust have degree level qualification or equivalent trades background\nMust have 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role on life sciences or similar large-scale construction projects\nMust have UK Passport or RTW\nBenefits\n£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
