Inclusion Manager
£45,257
The Role
We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the College meets its statutory responsibilities under the SEND Code of Practice and the Equality Act. This key position is dedicated to supporting students with disabilities and/or learning difficulties, ensuring they receive high‑quality, responsive support throughout their learning journey.
As the Inclusion Manager, you will oversee all operational activity across the SEND and Additional Learning Support (ALS) provision. With a strong focus on delivering an outstanding student experience, you will drive high performance, continuous improvement, and personalised support for a diverse range of learners — including those with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, learners receiving SEND support, adults, apprentices, and students on Higher Education programmes.
Reporting directly to the Head of Inclusion, you will provide inspirational leadership to staff and students, working collaboratively with the ALS Support Manager, ALS Assessment Manager, Advisory Teachers and the wider ALS team. You will also work closely with curriculum managers, delivery teams, and the College Management Team to ensure positive outcomes for all learners.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking someone suitably qualified, with strong FE experience in SEND and Inclusion, in‑depth knowledge of relevant legislation, and the ability to develop innovative, personalised support strategies. You’ll bring excellent organisational skills, a collaborative approach, and a proven track record of effective partnership working with local authorities, young people and parents/carers in relation to EHCPs and High Needs.
If you are passionate about inclusive education and ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you
