Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join a growing team based in Chislehurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident payroll professional who has experience managing high-volume payrolls and working with timesheet-driven environments.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 300 employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Process end-to-end payroll for 300+ staff across weekly and/or monthly payrolls
* Collate, check and input timesheets accurately
* Ensure overtime, holiday pay, statutory payments and deductions are processed correctly
* Manage starters, leavers and payroll amendments
* Respond to payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and current payroll legislation
* Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end procedures
* Liaise with HR and management teams regarding payroll data
* Also helping out with Adhoc accounts including Purchase and Sales Ledger, Bank Reconciliations and credit control.
About You
* Proven experience processing payroll for 300+ employees
* Strong experience working with timesheets and variable pay
* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments
* Confident using payroll systems and Excel
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
* Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
