We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hiab Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
3. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy.
4. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a culture of safety on the road.
6. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any enquiries or concerns professionally.
Experience
1. Previous experience as a Hiab Driver.
2. A valid commercial driving licence is essential.
3. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.

1. Competitive salary depending on experience.
2. Salary is based on average 50 hours per week. You will mainly be working Monday to Friday. Some weekend working is required.
3. Weekend working is normally worked on a rota basis (we pay weekend bonuses).
