A Software Project Manager will join a thriving Technical Consultancy to play a key role in delivering technical projects with significant software components across a range of Industry sectors. This highly customer-facing position includes collaboration with sales, engineering and client teams. A competitive salary will be offered to C£80K with Hybrid workingand Company Bonus scheme.
Responsibilities will for the Software Project Manager include:
The successful Software Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of software led projects; working closely with electronics and embedded systems teams. Youll provide motivation and leadership; will apply structured project management approaches as well as supporting continuous improvement in project delivery processes. You'll work closely with Clients to ensure projects are delivered to specification and budget.
The Software Project Manager should bring:
A minimum of a Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar subject. Prince2/PMP or similar beneficial.
Proven experience of managing complex software development projects.
Good people management skills.
Technical fluency across a range of software including Embedded Software and Application development with a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices. A strong understanding of Electronics is also highly beneficial.
Proven experience of working with tools and methodologies such as Agile, Jira and Microsoft Project.
Good Client interaction experience ideally gained within a Consultancy style environment.
