SEN Teacher
Location: Huntingdon and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Specialism: One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs
Role
Are you a qualified teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in a more flexible, student-focused setting? We're looking for SEN Teachers who are passionate about delivering personalised education to learners with complex needs. This is a unique opportunity to work one-to-one with students who benefit from a tailored, compassionate approach to learning.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver bespoke lessons in Maths, English, and Science
* Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and emotional needs
* Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
* Build strong relationships with students and their families
* Encourage independence, resilience, and academic confidence
Requirements
* QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
* Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
* Experience teaching across Key Stages 1-4
* Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
* Background in supporting students with SEN and SEMH
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Solid understanding of safeguarding practices
