Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £49,000
Shift schedule: Electrical – 4 on 4 off, no weekends; Mechanical – Mornings (06:00-13:00), Afternoons (13:00-20:00) and Nights (20:00-06:00), 1 week rotations.

The Role
* Overhaul and maintain mechanical / electrical equipment
* Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
* Assist in production changeovers and report shift activities
* Electrical installation work to 18th Edition (BS7671)
* Ensure compliance with H&S, PTW systems and HV safety rules
* Support continuous improvement and planned maintenance
* Accurate fault reporting and SAP updates
About You
* Time‑served Maintenance Engineer
* HNC or equivalent experience in heavy manufacturing / industrial environments
* Comfortable working days and nights
* Safety‑focused with good communication skills
