Assessor/Trainer Electrical Installations
Salary: £31,110 £36,157

Are you an experienced Electrical Installations professional with a passion for mentoring and training the next generation? We are recruiting a Trainer/Assessor to join a dynamic Construction team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to shape apprentices careers while enjoying a supportive and innovative working environment.
What youll do:
* Manage a caseload of apprentices, guiding them through their learning journey
* Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and support
* Conduct workplace assessments and progress reviews
* Monitor, track, and record apprentice progress accurately
* Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA)
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers
* Contribute to business development initiatives and employer engagement
* Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety
* Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation
This role offers agile working, combining on-site teaching, workplace visits, and remote administrative tasks.
What were looking for:
* Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
* Significant industry experience in Electrical Installation
* Assessor and/or IQA qualification (desirable)
* Teaching or assessing experience (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
* Flexibility, professionalism, and a collaborative approach
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties
