Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming school in Stocksbridge (S36). This opportunity is ideal for teachers who wish to encourage pupils to explore and understand diverse beliefs, values, and moral issues.
Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:
Deliver high-quality RE lessons to students across Key Stages.
Encourage critical thinking and respectful discussions around religion, ethics, and philosophy.
Plan, prepare, and assess learning to meet the needs of all students.
Contribute to the development of a rich and inclusive Humanities curriculum.
Maintain a well-managed classroom with high expectations for student behaviour and progress.
Requirements for RE Teacher:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Specialism in Religious Education or a related subject area.
Recent teaching experience within UK schools preferred.
A nurturing, reflective, and inclusive approach to teaching.
A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
