What will you do as a Client Support Apprentice?

The Client Support role in the EC team provides assistance to Line Managers, Consultants, and Client Relationship Managers (CRMs).

Typical tasks include:

* Contacting clients and providers by telephone, email, and letter
* Collating information from providers and clients for reports
* Checking Insurer’s accounts and issuing annual financial statements to clients
* Administration relating to a wide and varying range of health and protection policies
* Drafting service schedules, deadlines, and remuneration with clients
* Delivering services in accordance with agreed time schedules and budgets
* Preparing invoices for clients
* Maintaining records per internal guidelines and procedures
* Keeping client files compliant
* Answering calls from Employer Consulting helplines
* Updating Employer Consulting databases
* Supporting and maintaining Information Security procedures in line with Barnett Waddingham’s policies

What do we look for?

We seek a friendly, customer-focused approach with good attention to detail, a positive attitude, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members are essential. You should be eager to develop new skills.

You may have gained relevant skills through employment, volunteering, hobbies, or sports.

Entry requirements

Ideally A-Level standard or equivalent with grade C or higher in 2+ subjects.

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
