Job Title: Oracle Lease Accounting Workstream Lead (Finance Transformation)
Location: Bristol (2–3 days in office)
The Opportunity
We are supporting a large, global organisation undergoing a major finance transformation programme, implementing Oracle Fusion ERP across the business. They are looking for an experienced Oracle Lease Accounting Workstream Lead to take ownership of delivering lease accounting functionality as part of this programme.
The Role
You will act as the subject matter expert for lease accounting (IFRS 16) and lead the successful design and implementation of lease functionality within Oracle.
Working closely with the internal finance team and external implementation partners, you will ensure the system is configured correctly and supports accurate, compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end implementation of lease accounting in Oracle Fusion
* Act as SME for IFRS 16, ensuring compliance and best practice
* Translate finance requirements into system design and configuration
* Oversee testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support
* Work closely with stakeholders across finance, IT, and external partners
* Ensure robust controls, reporting, and data accuracy
Key Requirements
* Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting
* Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion (Lease Accounting / Financials)
* Proven background in ERP implementations or finance transformation programmes
* Ability to bridge finance and technology teams
* Experience working in large, complex, multi‑entity environments
* Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations
* Background in data migration or system optimisation
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Additional Information
* Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in Bristol
* Contract running until December 2026
