Overview
Hull City Council is recruiting for Night Care Assistants in Disability Children Homes. You will be part of a team working with children and young people with complex health needs and disabilities, providing consistent support through the night and contributing to positive outcomes and experiences for the children.

Responsibilities
* Form part of the child’s world of consistent adults; tend to personal care needs, health needs and basic comforts through the night.
* Support the wider team by contributing to care plans and undertaking report writing.
* Adhere to policies and procedures and participate in required training and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Some care experience, preferably with children.
* Ability to follow policies and procedures and undertake necessary training and development.
* Demonstrate the right commitment, skills, tenacity, imagination, and energy to support the children and their positive experiences.
* There is a 1/3 enhancement in addition to the salary for night work; hours are 74 per month and may exceed 20 hours per week due to rota.
* Roles may include Casual Night Care Assistant positions to cover holidays, absence, and training; these have no set pattern and require flexibility for varying hours.
* Due to the long shifts, be prepared to work additional hours when required and complete mandatory training across several days (weekdays).
