We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our well established Newark based client, who have grown to become one of the UK’s market leaders within their industry.
Competitive salary dependant on experience.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45-16:30 with an early finish on a Friday.

As a Contracts Manager, you are essentially the bridge between project planning and operation execution. You will be key member of the management team, collaborating with all areas of the business and working alongside the Service Manager, leading a team of Engineers and Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with all relevant staff and departments to process all contracts in a diligent manner and within the accepted time scales, costs, customer’s instructions and Codes of Practice.
- Visit sites as required and maintain the highest standard of customer relationship.
- Progress current contracts and chair weekly production meetings liaising with relevant departments to ensure customer requirements and installation and deliveries are met on time.
- Support Contract Coordinators with unforeseen events on site and liaise with clients and Engineers daily.
- Telephone support including contracts department mobile. Including weekend rotation when Engineers are on site.-
- Comply with all Company Rules, Regulations and Legal Requirements.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in a project management/installations in an engineering/manufacturing setting. You must be comfortable with Microsoft Packages and ERP Systems and be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Certifications:
- SMSTS/ CSCS
- Health & Safety NEBOSH or IOSH (at an advantage)
