Are you passionate about supporting children with behaviour needs and helping them succeed in school life? A welcoming primary school in the Rowley Regis area is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team and provide consistent, tailored support for pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges.
This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone with a calm, confident approach who can build trust with children and support them both in and out of the classroom. You'll work alongside teaching staff and inclusion teams to promote a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting pupils who struggle with emotional regulation or behaviour
Helping to implement structured routines and clear behaviour expectations
Working 1:1 with pupils or in small groups to develop coping and social skills
Using restorative and reflective approaches to encourage positive choices
Supporting transitions, breaktimes and key moments throughout the dayYou'll Need:
Experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs
A nurturing, firm and fair approach to behaviour management
