Overview
Theatre Support Worker - Royal Preston Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our theatre team within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust. There will be a rotation of shifts including nights and weekends. You will be responsible for supporting your team in achieving the highest standards of patient care and as a valued team member you will demonstrate commitment to the role.
You will be part of the operating team who support the theatre staff. Participate as a member of the circulating team to assist the scrub practitioner during surgery and are reassuring for patients, who may be anxious about going into the operating theatre. You will need a supportive and flexible approach to service delivery and participate in the movement of clean/dirty instrumentation throughout the theatre complex.
