An exciting opportunity to join a globally expanding investment risk function, hiring in the UK for the first time. This role will act as the regional lead for investment business continuity and resiliency, partnering closely with portfolio managers, traders, and senior investment leadership.
You’ll have high visibility across the investment organisation and significant autonomy, working with a globally distributed team.
Role
* Lead and uplift investment business continuity & resiliency practices across the region (c.70% of role)
* Act as a trusted partner to PMs, trading desks, and investment operations
* Ensure alignment with UK/EU regulatory expectations
* Deliver risk assessments, testing, reporting, and senior-level recommendations
* Contribute to global initiatives including investment access management and market data vendor oversight (c.30%)
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of investment platforms / investment-facing environments
* Awareness of business continuity or operational resiliency frameworks
* Proven self-starter who can operate independently within a global team
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Solid regulatory awareness within financial services
Ideal Background
* Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Business Continuity/Resiliency, Investment Operations, or Investment Business Management
* Experience from buy-side or sell-side institutions (asset managers or investment banks)
* Operating at Senior Analyst / Manager / VP-equivalent level
