Role: Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Commutable from the West Yorkshire region

SRG are currently recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to lead maintenance strategy, compliance and technical delivery across a processing environment. This is a hands‐on role with real autonomy, responsibility and visibility.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
* Lead site-wide EC&I maintenance strategy, proactive and reactive
* Act as Responsible Person for electrical work, isolations & LOTOTO (415V/110V/240V)
* Ensure compliance with DSEAR, COMAH and functional safety standards
* Oversee all instrument calibration, loop checks and verification
* Maintain and develop DCS systems in partnership with automation/IT
* Provide EC&I technical leadership across all projects, including design reviews, FAT/SAT and commissioning
* Support HAZOPs, risk assessments, and safety case development
* Ensure accurate technical documentation and CMMS data
* Work cross‐functionally with Operations, Maintenance and Projects to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
Criteria:
* C&G 18th Edition & Electrical Installation
* DSEAR / COMPEX experience
* Strong planning, problem-solving and contractor management skills
* Knowledge of HSWA, CDM, DSEAR and safe systems of work
* Confident with RAMS, PTW and risk assessments
* Clear communication and solid stakeholder management
* IEC 61508 / 61511 SIL knowledge.
