We have an opportunity for a Contract Support Manager to join our team supporting our South West Water framework. This role is focused on leading a support function that keeps the day-to-day operation running smoothly, ensuring administration, reporting and coordination activities are delivered accurately and on time.
You’ll be at the centre of the team, providing structure and organisation, supporting colleagues and making sure information is captured, maintained and communicated effectively.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
* Leading and supporting a small team, including day-to-day guidance and performance support
* Producing and maintaining reports and presentations to support the wider team
* Ensuring systems are kept up to date, with accurate and timely data input and tracking
* Managing and improving administrative processes to support efficient ways of working
* Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring these are handled promptly
* Supporting stakeholders across the business with information, coordination and general support
* Overseeing general office activities including meetings, documentation and communications
* Handling escalated queries and resolving issues in a calm and practical way
* Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with company standards and compliance requirements
We would love to hear from you if…
You have experience in a support, administration or coordination role, ideally with some experience of leading or mentoring others.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a busy environment, and confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office, particularly when working with data and producing reports. Along with strong communication skills and enjoy working with a range of people, providing support and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Experience within utilities or a similar operational environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
This role can be based in Exeter or St Cleer, and we would also consider part-time working arrangements.
