We are seeking a passionate and skilled Welding Assessor/Lecturer to join our dynamic Engineering Department on a 0.5 fractional contract. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of the engineering sector, teaching and assessing groups of post‑16 learners including 16‑18 study programme students, adult learners, and engineering apprentices. Your role will include working as workplace assessor for an assigned caseload of welding apprentices and college‑based delivery of high‑quality practical and theoretical training across Levels 1 and 2 Welding, ensuring learners develop the precise manual skills and safety awareness required by modern industry. Our workshops are equipped for multi‑process training and you will be expected to instruct learners in practical & theoretical training in a safe workshop environment.
