About the role:
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working closely with residents to support their recovery and promote independent living in a safe, stable environment. You’ll provide person-centred keywork support while also managing tenancy agreements, rent accounts, and coordinating housing benefit applications.
You’ll also:
1. Carry out regular health & safety and property checks
2. Liaise with maintenance teams and external housing bodies
3. Support residents in accessing move-on housing and community resources
4. Work as part of a passionate team who are driven by compassion and hope
This role is based across our Folkestone and Canterbury projects.
About you:
You’ll be someone who is committed to empowering people on their recovery journeys and confident working in a structured housing environment. You’ll bring both compassion and practicality, with a strong understanding of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and health & safety compliance.
We’re especially looking for people who have:
5. Experience in supported accommodation, housing management, or social housing
6. Knowledge of tenancy agreements and rent arrears processes
7. A flexible approach and strong team ethic
8. Experience in substance misuse, social care, or recovery work (desirable)
9. The ability to travel between Folkestone and Canterbury as needed
