Production Planner/ Manager Location: Northwest, Campsie Industrial Estate, Eglinton. Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Coordinate with different departments (e.g. purchasing, warehousing, production) to ensure resources are available. Material Planning: Ensure raw materials and components are available to meet production needs. Liaise with procurement to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking. Capacity Planning: Analyse production capacity and adjust plans to match demand. Identify bottlenecks and work with teams to resolve constraints. Monitoring and Adjusting Plans: Track progress of production against the plan. Update schedules as needed due to machine breakdowns, material delays, or urgent orders. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on output, efficiency, and downtime. Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Provide feedback to improve planning processes and accuracy. Communication & Coordination: Act as the link between production, procurement, sales, and logistics. Ensure everyone is aligned on timelines and expectations. Criteria: At least 3 years experience of production planning/ management experience within a manufacturing business. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Excel Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
