Fixed term, to support additional workload in the Early Years Unit for the academic year

We are seeking to employ a teaching assistant to support the general learning of pupils in our Early Years classes, with particular focus on providing support for specific pupils as the need arises.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for:
1. Developing pupils’ Social, Emotional and Mental Health Skills.
2. Working with class teachers and other teaching assistants to provide effective support in the classroom.
3. Working with parents/carers where required.
4. Supporting the delivery of the curriculum and helping the children access it appropriately.
The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teacher and school leaders to lead and organise activities for pupils within an Early Years class, and to support the learning needs at an appropriate level for individuals who joined our Early Years cohort in September to be able to access the curriculum and have a safe and enjoyable experience in school.
This will be a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year to support the additional workload in the Early Years unit.
