Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical Site Manager located in Ossett. As an Electrical Site Manager, your day-to-day tasks will include overseeing electrical maintenance, managing electricity distribution, coordinating electrical engineering projects, and ensuring compliance with electrical design standards.
The Site Manager is to ensure that the target plan of the Contract(s) to which they are assigned and achieved by the effective management of all resources required to deliver the contract on time, to the quality standards and in budget.
Responsibilities…
* Make requisition for supply of all labour and material and plant equipment types required to meet contract programme / productivity targets
* Co-ordinate the establishment of, and manage, all site teams necessary for the completion of a project in accordance with pertinent processes and procedures
* Organise work site teams to deliver projects in line with the resourcing requirements
* Manage programmes and deliver updates and forecasts throughout the contract period to the Project Team
* Oversee the installation of the services meet the employers requirements, design and compliance with regulations / standards
* Identifying, recording, and detailing variations to contract, causes of delay, disruption, sequencing, and all other relevant events that impact the contract programme and providing supporting reports for the Contracts Manager in the preparation of claims
* Responsible for meeting all relevant Quality standards
* Responsible for meeting all relevant Health & Safety standards
Who we want…
* Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and electricity
* Experience with power distribution and electrical systems
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Demonstrable experience within the Electrical industry and within a Site Management role
* Demonstrable experience in project management, performance management and leadership skills
* Experience in the Healthcare sector would be beneficial but not essential
* Experience in the industrial or infrastructure sector is a plus
* Qualification within Electrical Engineering or related field
* Is comfortable working within sensitive end user environments
* Can demonstrate the ability to motivate and encourage others
* An open and clear communicator at all levels
* Has a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances
