Main duties of the job
1. Support the Locality Nursing Team Manager in delivering the locality nursing service in line with service specifications, standards, activity, and outcomes, within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
2. Assist in providing line management and leadership for the community nursing team, being accountable for the team’s caseload and workforce development to meet patient needs.
3. Lead a specific area of nursing practice to ensure less experienced nurses have access to best practice knowledge and support their clinical development.
4. Deputise for the Locality Nursing Team Manager in their absence and undertake delegated tasks as part of succession planning.
5. Work independently in various tasks and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, innovative, and hold a full UK driving license with access to a car.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract for Band 6 Community Nurses across the Richmond & Teddington area. The service operates from 7 am to 7 pm across Richmond borough, based at Teddington Health and Social Care Centre TW11 0LR.
