HR Assistant Location: Preston Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid (on-site Monday to Thursday, remote Fridays or condensed four-day week) Sector: Manufacturing A leading global manufacturer is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join its dynamic team in a newly created role. About the Role Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting a broad range of HR activities across the full employee lifecycle. From handling day-to-day queries to contributing to strategic people initiatives, this role offers hands-on experience in all areas of HR and people solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering professional and supportive guidance to managers and employees * Support core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding * Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current employment legislation and best practice * Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR systems, processes, and ways of working * Help implement a new Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinate training and development activities across the business * Collaborate on key people projects and support the rollout of new HR initiatives About You We’re looking for someone who is passionate about HR, eager to learn, and ready to make a meaningful contribution to a growing organisation.
