Team Leader – Manufacturing
Location: Coventry
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional shift flexibility)
Reports to: Production / Operations Manager

The Role
We are looking for a skilled Team Leader with hands-on manufacturing experience. You’ll lead a small team of operators, ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of operators to achieve daily & weekly production targets.
Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
Monitor workflow, assign tasks, manage shift handovers, and make sure processes run smoothly.
Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
Work closely with Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production, inspections, and team performance.
Provide feedback and performance reviews, identifying training needs.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as a team leader or supervisory role.
Good understanding of health & safety regulations and lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse performance metrics and take corrective action.
Flexible approach to shifts/workload demands.
Desirable:
Experience with (or knowledge of) specific manufacturing equipment/processes relevant to our business.
Use of manufacturing software / MES / ERP / quality management systems.
Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
