I am currently supporting a well established, family-owned FMCG business based in Lancashire, in their search to hire a National Account Manager to join their lean but ambitious team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, driven professional to take ownership of key retail and wholesale accounts while actively driving growth.
The Role:
As the National Account Manager, you'll manage existing accounts, maximise their potential, and develop new relationships to drive business growth. You will have the autonomy to make impactful commercial decisions and directly influence the company's strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with key retail and wholesale customers as the National Account Manager.
Drive account growth through maximising potential across current partnerships.
Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the customer base.
Collaborate with internal teams to navigate supply chain challenges.
Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support business strategy.About You:
4-5+ years' experience in a commercial or account management role, ideally within FMCG.
Strong retail and/or wholesale network and understanding of the channels.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key accounts as a National Account Manager.
Excellent commercial acumen and ability to make autonomous decisions.
Confident working in a lean team and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Experience navigating supply chain challenges is advantageous, but not essential.This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and the chance to work for a growing family business with genuine opportunity to make an impact as a National Account Manager.
