Join our growing logistics team as a Container Traffic Operator / Transport Planner, ensuring smooth transport operations in the container haulage industry.
What Youll Do:
* Schedule and route vehicles to meet customer deadlines.
* Provide drivers with clear instructions; manage live changes.
* Optimize loads to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
* Be the main contact for drivers, clients, and internal teams.
* Monitor trips, resolve delays, and keep operations on track.
* Ensure compliance with transport laws and safety standards.
* Must have TMS (TOPS) experience.
* Update and maintain accurate records.
* Communicate delivery updates to clients and handle inquiries.
What Youll Need:
1. Experience in container transport planning or traffic operations.
2. Knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations.
3. Confident using TMS (TOPS preferred) and MS Office.
4. Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
