If you’re looking for a role where you can lead technically challenging projects end-to-end, this Project Manager position will suit someone who enjoys structure, ownership and working closely with specialist engineering teams. You’ll have a clear line of responsibility, strong visibility across the organisation, and the opportunity to shape how projects are planned, delivered and reviewed.
Our client develops advanced electronic hardware and high-precision engineered products. Their teams bring together specialists in design, manufacturing, testing, and operations, and they’re seeking someone who can keep multi-disciplinary activity aligned and moving at pace. The environment is hands-on, collaborative, and well suited to someone who values clarity, technical detail and steady delivery.
As the Project Manager, you’ll be accountable for planning, coordination and performance across a portfolio of technically complex projects. You’ll act as the central point of communication, ensuring teams understand priorities, risks are managed, and progress is accurately tracked.

* Coordinating cross-functional teams spanning engineering, operations, supply chain and quality
* Providing clear updates, reports and reviews to internal stakeholders and senior management
* Managing budgets, financial performance and forecasting for each project
* Identifying risks early and developing practical mitigation plans
* Supporting bids and proposals with project structure, estimates and delivery inputs
Experience

* Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and maintain alignment across multiple workstreams
* Strong organisational skills, with confidence planning schedules, managing budgets and prioritising workload
* Competence using project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera or Jira
* Clear communication style and ease presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience with structured methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2 or APMP)
* Ability to work in environments where requirements evolve and clarity of direction is essential
* Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
You’ll step into a role with clear responsibility, the chance to work closely with highly skilled technical teams, and the opportunity to lead projects that require precision, structure and strong coordination. The position offers a competitive salary in the region of £65,000–£80,000, hybrid working, and a supportive environment that values organised delivery and practical problem-solving.
