We are currently working with an Education setting just south of Birmingham city centre who are looking for a standalone HR officer on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting into the Head Teacher supporting c. 250 employees this is a true HR generalist role with duties including;
* First point of call for all employee relations queries and independent ER case management
* Supporting managers on absence management, performance management
* Full recruitment lifecycle management from advert writing and posting, assisting managers with shortlisting & interviewing through to on-boarding and supporting managers through probation & performance reviews
* Assisting with new starter training & taking all new employees through full induction
* Appraisal management
* Data protection and compliance management
* Reviewing and updating school policies and procedures
* Sole responsibility to managing School HR database
This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with some flexibility on start & finish times and it is full time on-site in Birmingham.
