Geo-Environmental Engineer
RSK Geosciences is recruiting a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join its team based in Coventry, UK. This full‑time, permanent role offers opportunities for challenging projects, market‑leading training and career progression.
Responsibilities
* Run and support Phase I & II geo‑environmental ground investigations across all scales and site types, with senior support as necessary.
* Undertake site works using a range of intrusive investigation methods.
* Participate in environmental monitoring and incident response visits, providing associated reporting.
* Perform soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling.
Qualifications & Experience
* BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science or similar.
* MSc desirable but not essential.
* Working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution.
* 1–5 years of specific relevant experience.
* Good understanding of geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land and geotechnics.
* Basic knowledge of planning legislation.
* Able to produce factual and interpretative assessments to a basic level.
* Able to deliver projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy setting.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources and budget effectively.
* Full UK driving licence.
